For the 11th consecutive year, Bring is presenting e-commerce awards for the categories "Online Store of the Year" and "Newcomer of the Year" categories. The food industry is particularly well represented among this year’s winners. Along with the beauty website BliVakker, Kolonial and Brødboksen are finalists in the "Online Store of the Year" category, while the grocery store Marked is competing against bike store Merida and toy store Extra Leker to become "Newcomer of the Year".
"The jury believes that these represent the cream of Norwegian online stores right now. The finalists in the 'Online Store of the Year' category have been working hard over time to become even better, and provide great shopping experiences to their customers. For the finalists in the 'Newcomer of the Year' category it is the online store's credibility, sound business concept, clear future plans and growth ambitions that are crucial," says Johan Holgersson, chairman of Bring's jury.
The finalists in each category are invited to a "finalist pitch" at Bring in August, to convince the jury that they are worthy winners of the e-commerce awards for 2017.
"We look forward to getting to know the finalists during the pitch, and to experience their passion for e-commerce. Norwegian online stores should look to the finalists for inspiration and learn from them. They are all pioneers in their industries," says Holgersson.
The "Online store of the Year" and "Newcomer of the Year" awards will be presented at the logistics and e-commerce conference LOAD.17 on 21 September.
